This year, the Imabari District Tourism Association has introduced a new Instagram category in its popular tourism photo contest. Following the successful photo trips last year, another trip is planned for 2017, on October 15 (Sun).
This time, we’ll visit Kikuma to photograph the spectacular Otomouma Horse Festival, where young lads ride horses at breakneck speed up a steep slope to a shrine, among other attractions. After a bento lunch, we’ll visit the attractive Kawara-kan tile museum to photograph the exhibits and take part in a workshop where we make our own tile art.
